“lovely stay, staff were so friendly and helpful. we actually got stuck in our car around the park the morning of check out, we called the lodge and they sent some guys out to help us get unstuck, then let us shower even though check out had passed. also great food, wonderful service, excellent rooms and great views. can't recommend this place highly enough.”

“Cuando llegamos al hotel , en vez de darnos la habitación que habíamos reservado nos dieron a elegir entre dos de categoría inferior. Nos quejamos y al final nos dijeron que había un problema con el agua caliente en la que habíamos reservado y por eso nos ofrecían una habitación inferior, sin embargo no nos hacían ningún descuento en el precio. Nos quedamos en la que realmente habíamos reservado y el agua caliente funcionó los 9 días que pasamos allí ; sin embargo la taza del baño estaba rota y...

“Overall the hotel and staff are good. The only thing i strongly reccommend them to work on is the food. Compared to other hotels in the area they are below average. This said, thw rooms were clean and service was good!”

“Everyone was AMAZING!”

“Excellent stay. The lodge is beautiful, the activities are great, the food is delicious, and the service is outstanding. Everything was perfect. Would love to go back and stay longer.”

“Small setting only about ten tents, food is excellent and the provided included lunch boxes were really good among the best we had in Tanzania Staff friendly and helpful. Use Maps.me to find it and its a doddle to find. On the drive out each day we saw Giraffes, Elephants and all sorts of antelope”

“The most peaceful and beautiful place ever with great views. I was also very impressed with the staff, they were super kind and helpful all the time. Highly recommended if you're looking for an amazing, peaceful and beautiful stay!”

“Amazing hotel, amazing services. Beautiful pool. Animals come by the hotel. We saw Buffalos, elephants and many more. Night drive with sunset was a success. Juat loved it!!!!”

“Poor entrance road, without signs, but the place was beautifully constructed with old huge wooden beams in the dining area, good food, beautiful grounds, nice pool and helpful friendly staff”

“Supremely clean, extremely well- appointed rooms/tents, the food was superb and the staff beyond friendy and professional! Specifically wanted to mention nBaraka who helped us with rental car issues and advocated for us constantly. Also he was instrumental in helping us get our permits for Ngorongoro Crater and Olduvai Gorge. As well, Mariam was the kindest person- always greeting us with a smile and going out of her way to help us with any need. The cuisine was five star! Throughout our stay,...

“This is a challenging review to write. The property is lovely and the staff was kind-though limited in their ability to resolve the issues. If you are looking for secluded, beautiful and restful, this could be the place for you. However it is located far from any town and further from many of the sites we chose to visit. It was billed as the “perfect location” from which to explore Tarangire and Manyara NPs, but in truth it is a couple of hours from either one of these. Further, they seem only...

“We have spent two nights in Tarangire Greenland Retreat. Our experience was nothing but amazing. Staff was very friendly and paid attention to everything you might need. Tents are spacious and very luxurious. Everything was very clean. Having en suite toilet and shower in a tent was very comfortable. Beds were super comfy and the breakfast and dinner very tasty. We are vegetarian and the alternatives we got for the main dishes were the best on our whole trip. This accomodation might be on the...

“What an amazing experience! Sleeping quarters for 5 people were right but the price was right and space didn’t matter when waking up to zebras, wildebeests and monkeys in your front yard! Food was great, drinks were great, and staff was lovely. I saw some people complaint about hot water but it’s Africa! What do you expect?!! A cold shower was nothing to complain about when all that wildlife is passing through your camp! ”
